Spanish Nite is a
very special Nite when scholarships are awarded to excellent
Hispanic students helping them to continue
on to higher education. (see
scholarship)
Recipients are
chosen based on both, academic achievement and financial need.
During this event, we recognize our many sponsors whose significant
contributions have made this dream a reality.
In order to raise contributions for the HLPT Scholarship Fund, we
celebrate the evening with fine dining and a live Latin
band representing the best of Latin-American culture.
A very diverse crowd consisting of local business, corporations,
financial institutions, media, theater, educators, the arts
and the Hispanic / American community are al invited to enjoy this
spectacular event.

We are searching for nominations for the Hispanic League
of the Piedmont Triad’s annual "Hanesbrand Inc. Hispanic Leadership Award" which is sponsored in
coordination with Hanesbrand Inc..
We would like to honor someone who has made substantial
contributions to our Hispanic Community through their
leadership in the Piedmont Triad area.
We will award the successful nominee a plaque and recognize their
contributions at our annual Spanish Nite formal gala
which will be on March 31, 2007 at the
Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Winston-Salem .
Criteria
for nominations are:

No restrictions on age, ethnic origin, or
gender
* May not be a current (2006) or new
(2007) member of the Board of Directors

Nominee must
be a deserving individual who has shown outstanding leadership
within the Piedmont Triad's Hispanic Community
* Nominations
must be received by February 28, 2007- CLOSED FOR 2007 |
